Although now superceded this is a tried and tested help
system technology meeting a variety of customer needs
and is still a popular option.
The
WinHelp contains all of the features you would expect,
including context-sensitivity, hypertext, screen shots
and an expanding/collapsing navigation tree making it
easier for users to locate information.
The
help files work with Microsoft Windows versions 3.x, 9x
and NT, they do not rely on the presence of a web browser
such as Internet Explorer. Winhelp is an ideal alternative
solution to the new HTML Help format.
